WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Senator Angus King has announced that Presque Isle native, Jordyn Madore, has been promoted to Regional Representative for Aroostook County. Madore, who has been working with Senator King for seven years, will also continue to serve as a Constituent Services Representative in Aroostook County.
“I am excited to announce the promotion of Jordyn Madore to Regional Representative for Aroostook County, a hard-earned and well-deserved reward for her tireless commitment to the people of Aroostook County,” said Senator King. “From her time working with community support organizations to her philanthropic work, Jordyn represents the very best of Maine. I know that with her deep ties to Presque Isle and passion for her community, Jordyn will provide the very best service to all Maine people in Aroostook County. I look forward to seeing all the great work she will continue to do on behalf of our state as she takes on this new role.”
Jordyn Madore, a Presque Isle native and graduate of Presque Isle High School, attended the University of Maine at Farmington, where she received her Bachelor of Science in K-8 Elementary and Special Education. She returned to The County in 2012 where she put her degree to use working as a behavioral health and community support worker for children and families throughout the area. She then began her role as Program Coordinator for Aroostook Aspirations Initiative’s internship and scholar program. In 2017, she joined Senator King in his Aroostook County office as a Constituent Services Representative where she works directly with constituents to ensure they have access to their elected Member of Congress. She also assists with resolving issues pertaining to federal agencies.
In her spare time, Jordyn is a passionate volunteer and is involved in several community organizations. She is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Presque Isle, where she served as 2023 – 2024 Club President and currently serves as the club's Youth and Literacy Committee Chair. Jordyn is also an Executive Committee member for the Crown of Maine Balloon Fest where she is responsible for coordinating festival activities, volunteers, and events. Previously, she served in leadership roles with the Presque Isle Downtown Revitalization Committee and Relay For Life of Aroostook efforts.
Earlier this summer, Senator King announced Sharon Campbell would serve as State Director. She previously served as the Regional Representative for Senator King’s office in Aroostook County.
