Regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity, Dr. King preached that equality, hope, and unity provide a path forward to realizing the American Dream. As he said, ‘The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.’ Today and every day, we must continue in this march towards justice and equality. So as we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy, let us recommit ourselves to serving our neighbors, our communities, and our country so we can move another step closer to achieving a more perfect union with liberty and justice for all.”
