The fiscal year (FY) 2025 federal appropriations process will include opportunities to fund local projects through Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS). This funding opportunity is available to nonprofit entities and state and local governments. For-profit entities are not eligible for CDS funding. FY25 CDS funding is anticipated to be highly competitive, and as such many projects will not move forward.
The Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Congressional Directed Spending application has now closed. All projects submitted by Senator King will be disclosed by subcommittee between May 30, 2024 and June 6, 2024.
